Larchmere Merchants Association and Summit Charitable Events Foundation present the first annual Larchmere Uncorked, a benefit for the Larchmere Merchants Association Beautification Fund.

Taking place on Saturday, July 3, 2010, the event kicks off at 12 Noon in the courtyard in front of Shaker Quality Auto Body located at 12916 Larchmere Blvd and runs in conjunction with the Larchmere Festival which features artists, antiques and flea market finds.

Guests can sip and sample wines from local and national purveyors and delectable food prepared by local restaurants, as well as enjoy musical entertainment.

Press Release – LARCHMERE UNCORKED FEATURES FINE WINES, LOCAL FOOD & ENTERTAINMENT THIS HOLIDAY WEEKEND

Wine and food lovers will converge upon Larchmere Boulevard in Cleveland, Ohio to raise money for the Beautification Fund of the Larchmere Merchants Association, paying for public improvements such as hanging flower baskets that keep Larchmere Boulevard vibrant.

The first annual Larchmere Uncorked, a benefit for the Larchmere Merchants Association.  Running in tandem with the Larchmere Festival, which features fabulous antiques, music, food and flea market finds.

Summit Charitable Events Foundation, producer of the Hudson Wine Festival, and the Larchmere Merchants Association have partnered to hold the first annual Larchmere Uncorked wine tasting event on July 3, 2010 in tandem with the Larchmere Festival.

Noon – 8 p.m.: Over 1,000 guests are expected to sample national and international wines in addition to delectable food prepared by local restaurants.  Wines tasted on site are available for purchase through Heinen’s, the official retail wine partner for Larchmere Uncorked.

The University of Akron Steel Drum Band will play from 12 – 3:30 p.m. and Akin for Jazz will take the stage from 4 – 8 p.m.


Press Release – FIRST ANNUAL LARCHMERE UNCORKED WINE EVENT PLANNED FOR JULY

Cleveland, Ohio (May 6, 2010) – Summit Charitable Events Foundation is pleased to announce the first annual Larchmere Uncorked Festival, a benefit for the Beautification Fund of the Larchmere Merchants Association, paying for public improvements such as hanging flower baskets that keep Larchmere Boulevard vibrant.

Scheduled to take place on July 3, 2010 from 12 – 8 p.m. in the courtyard of Shaker Quality Auto Body located at 12916 Larchmere, this exciting food and wine festival will take place in tandem with the Larchmere Festival, which features fabulous antiques, music, food and flea market finds.

Guests will be able to sip and sample over 100 wines from local, national and international producers, in addition to delectable food prepared by local restaurants and musical entertainment. Over 1,000 guests are expected to join the event in order to celebrate summer, mix and mingle with friends and neighbors, and help raise funds for the Beautification Fund of the Larchmere Merchants Association.
